We sponsor two Sunday Church School classes for adults. The Present Word is a Bible study class and The Seekers Seminar is a discussion group focused on current topics of interest to the participants and the church. The Present Word class begins at 9:15 a.m. and The Seekers Seminar begins at 9:30.

Presbyterian Women sponsor four circles – Hannah, Esther-Sarah, and BAG Ladies - and a wide variety of mission and service activities. Check the CALENDAR or call the church office for more information about schedules and current projects.

All members of First Presbyterian Church are a part of one of our Shepherd Groups. Shepherd Leaders share information about and among their flock, help provide emotional and physical support and comfort when needed, and try to keep all members of the congregation in touch with each other. If you would like to be a part of this caring ministry contact any Deacon or call the church office.

Prime of Life is a fellowship of those over 55 in our congregation. They meet the first Sunday of each month for a meal, devotions, and a short program.

Men’s Prayer Breakfast Club meets every Monday morning at 7:00 a.m. for prayer, Bible study, and food. If you are an early riser, become a part of this long-standing First Presbyterian group.

Dinners for Eight is a fellowship program that brings together groups of four couples (singles are included too) for dinner and fellowship four times a year. At the end of one year the groups are reassigned. We can find a place for you at any time, however, so if you are not yet a participant in these lively gatherings, call Julia Tye or the church office to get on board.
